Daily Zen Review

Charlie Amber is the curator of Daily Zen. It started all the way back in 2008 right as twitter emerged. Since then he has a well deserved audience of over 300,000 people!

This is not your typical E-book by ANY means. It is 291 pages which is HUGE for an E-book.

His twitter account @DailyZen is fantastic and I definitely recommend you follow it!

This book is perfect as an introduction to zen or a continuation of learning zen. The sheer amount of information he covers guarantees that you will learn something new. Charlie also puts it in a context that makes it easy to read, while making it interesting all at once.

If you have depression, anxiety, or any other unease of the mind, you should read this book.

If your life is out of control or if you are simply looking to find more peace in your life then this book is for you!

Even if you just like philosophy and looking to learn some new ways of thinking about life, you should still check this book out.

Maybe you have never read anything about Zen even? You could go back and read an ancient text, but I would suggest reading this first to see if you’d be interested in Zen.

Charlie’s book is also a great change up from many of the “kill and work 18 hours a day books.” Which probably doesn’t resonate with most people.

This book has helped me find more serenity in life. It has also helped me enjoy going “slow” sometimes and being in the moment rather than getting caught in the chaos of everyday life. There always needs to be a balance. That balance is also unique to every individual person.

I would highly recommend this book. I honestly didn’t expect a whole lot, but WOW I was blown away by the depth he went to in this book. Not your typical E-book at all.
